These camps are held Saturdays 11 am to 5pm and Sundays 10am to 3pm on designated weekends. This lesson is for those who have little or no kite experience at all. We supply all the kites and helmets. We cover all the basics on what the wind window is and how it is used. How to fly a trainer kite using a bar and the different flying patterns used to kiteboard. We then move into "intro to inflatable kites and different types and sizes". Learning set-up, safety systems, assisted launch and landings and then kite driven body dragging through the water if conditions allow. We also cover some more advanced techniques like water starting if time allows. There are many things that will be learned and much of it requires little to no wind. Our goal for this lesson is to have you leave armed with all the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to safely kiteboard and also know what you will need to look for in a purchase of equipment if you plan to pursue this sport. Realistically it takes about 3 to 4 days here in Colorado/Nebraska to get up on a board but we have seen it quicker and we make it our #1 concern to get you to the water as quick as possible but again safety is our #1 priority. As it should be yours. I will send a confirmation email once signed up and the a final email the week leading up to the camp to inform of any changes as to where we meet.
We take 6 people max but it also fills fast so with the limited camps for the beginners sign up soon!
The price will $199.00 for both days and the use of all kites and instruction .I am limited on wetsuits but if you don't have one let me know your size..

Testimonial
Hey Bill and Matt
Thanks for the great weekend kite camp.
I had a great time and got just what I
wanted.
Maybe this unsolicited testimonial will
help you?
post it whereever and however you like
I wanted to check out kiting and the camp
was a perfect place to do it, get my intro what the sport is about and
learn alot from a couple of guys who love the sport and love to share
it with others.
Safety is king at the camp and they make
sure you get that message throughout all phases of activity and
especially the critcal times of launching and coming in.
We had the opportunity to prepare and
launch a variety of kites as the wind conditions went from 25 mph to
near zero.
One father has his two sons and they had a
great family intro together.
I give Matt and Bill 5 stars for this
intro on the beautiful beaches at Big Mac.
